Customization
- Are medicines being taken at appropriate times?
- Is there more/less than normal movement throughout the house?
- Are outside doors being opened when they shouldn't be?
- Is the home too hot or too cold?
- Has the stove or oven been left running too long?
- Is the refrigerator being accessed for meals?
- Is weight/pulse/blood pressure within normal range?
GrandCare monitoring systems offer complete flexibility in customization, and ElderWatch is happy to help you arrange things exactly the way you want them. Custom system programming provides virtually limitless freedom on the type of monitoring and interaction you wish to have with your loved one or client.
For example, if there is movement in the bedroom late at night, you can have the system contact you so you can call back or check health readings. Or, you can program lights to automatically turn on to prevent injury.
You can have the system provide an alert directly on a senior's television screen if it is hot or cold outside as a reminder to dress appropriately.
You can provide a TV alert to remind your loved one to take pills if there is no movement at the medicine cabinet during the appropriate time period.
You can monitor wellness by viewing a history of movement throughout the house, a history of vital readings, how often the refrigerator is opened for meals, or how often the bathroom is used. From this information, it is possible to notice trends that may indicate a health issue that would not be noticed through occasional checkups by a friend or nurse.
Configuration is easy using GrandCare's web interface:
